Hey Friend!
So this is a bit different episode today, but it was something that was on my heart when I sat down to record. This is what I love about podcasting – it can be whatever you want to do.
I’ve mentioned it before; I’m a BIG fan of The Chosen. I recently watched episode 4 of Season 2, and something stirred inside me. In this episode, Jesus tells Matthew: “Sometimes, You Got to Stir Up the Water,” and he walks off like A BOSS. I loved it. I’ve been thinking about this ever since, especially how it relates to Podcasting.
One thing I’ve noticed recently… is that so many podcasts are formula-driven. You know what I’m talking about – Music-intro-main content-music =outro with CTA + music. Even the show notes are formula-driven. The thing is, you don’t have to have YOUR show sound like everyone else. You want it to be unique. With over 2 million podcasts worldwide, you must set yourself apart to be seen.
Let’s stir up the water!
